Smelly people...

I am currently at the central library downtown paying some bills between two smelly, probably homeless people. Though the computer lab is very nice. Why am I here? Good question. Well, my laptop pin the allows the battery to charge came loose and needs to be fixed, so I had to ship my laptop off to Utah for repairs (those mormons better not re-format my hard drive) and have been without it since Tuesday night and needed to pay a couple bills. Living without my laptop has been weird. Plus, I work at probably the only law firm in the world that does not have internet access. Yes really. Our law firm is too cheap to give us each internet laptop on our computers, so we have 2 computers that 100 attorney share to do legal research. Thus I am across the street at the library. My law firm is cheap and stupid. Do you know how much more efficient as an attorney I could be if I was able to walk a client through something on the internet, or look up a form, or a case, or a precedent, or a phone #.... grrr...

I am staying to do overtime tonight. Not because I want to, but because my firm has made it mandatory. That's fine, but it's pretty crappy that they didn't give any one notice, which sucks for the people who have to pick up their kids and stuff. But hey, can't complain, I need/want the money.

So anyway, I've had enough of smelly people, my olfactory senses are not happy. I'm also having a crappy day at work if you can't tell already. Clients are pissing me off. Liberty's law tip of the day: if you don't want to be sued by your credit card company, pay your credit card. You can't be pissed that they've decided to sue you if you haven't made a payment in over 3 years people... Sigh...

I hope my laptop comes back to me soon... I miss it...
